Common Questions
Do I need equipment?
No special equipment is required. We bring simple tools if needed and can also show you how to use items you already have at home, like chairs or light weights. Our goal is to keep things safe, comfortable, and easy to follow.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. Anchor Mobility is a private, in-home service. We travel to you in Hilton Head, Bluffton, Okatie, and Beaufort so you can train in the comfort and safety of your own home.
What ages do you work with?
We primarily work with older adults who want to improve strength, balance, and mobility, but we also support adults of other ages who are focused on staying independent and active.
Is this physical therapy?
Anchor Mobility does not replace medical care or physical therapy. We focus on safe, personalized strength, balance, and mobility training. If you are under a doctor’s or physical therapist’s care, we are happy to coordinate so your program supports their recommendations.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions last about 45–60 minutes, depending on your needs, energy level, and goals. We always move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
Do you work with beginners?
Yes. Many of our clients are starting from scratch or returning after a long break. We meet you exactly where you are, explain everything in simple terms, and build your confidence step by step.
